Jim Craig, Attorney
James E. Craig (“Jim”) is the founder of the EVICTION LAW OFFICE and is its principal lawyer. Jim’s background, experience and education include the following:
Jim served in the United States Air Force for four years and is a Vietnam veteran. He earned several awards and medals for service to his country.
Jim is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in accounting. He completed the four year course of education in two years and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
After obtaining his accounting degree, Jim taught accounting at Eastern Kentucky University as an Associate Professor for one year and during that time earned a Masters Degree in accounting.
Jim continued his education at the University of Kentucky and earned a Law Degree in 1978. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Over the past 25 years Jim has owned and managed over 2,500 commercial and residential rental properties for his own account and the account of others. During that time he has obtained thousands of evictions for his clients and himself.
Although he know the process of obtaining evictions, Jim has developed more cost effective ways of representing land lords who are struggling with past due tenants and many property owners have implemented his approach at their properties.
Jim’s strength is his first hand knowledge of rental property and tenant issues along with his practical, low-cost, and effective solutions.
